- Your delivery and billing addresses.
- Your order history, wishlist and account details if you create an account.
- Confirmation that your payment was made. Card and bank details are entered with our payment provider and are not stored by us.

- Technical information about your visit, such as your device, browser, IP address and the pages you view, collected through cookies.
Why we use it
- To process and deliver your orders, arrange collection, and handle returns, refunds and queries.
- To create and manage your account.
- To prevent fraud and keep the website secure.
- To keep the records the law requires, such as tax and accounting records.
- To improve the website and understand how it is used.
- To send you news and offers about Tootels, only if you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the message or by contacting us.
Who we share it with

- The Courier Guy, to deliver your order.
- Our payment provider, to process your payment.
- The service providers that run our website, hosting, email and retail and stock systems.
- Our professional advisers, and the authorities, where the law requires it.
We require these providers to protect your information and to use it only for the services they provide to us. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
The website uses cookies. Some are necessary, for example to keep items in your cart and keep you signed in. Others help us understand how the website is used so we can improve it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the website may then not work properly.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet our legal obligations. Order and tax records are kept for at least five years, as the law requires. When we no longer need your information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. If your information is ever compromised in a way that puts you at risk, we will tell you and the Information Regulator as the law requires.
Sending information outside South Africa
Some of our service providers may store or process information outside South Africa. When that happens, we make sure the provider is bound to protect your information to a standard similar to POPIA.
Children
The website is not meant for people under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without a parent or guardian’s consent.
Your rights
You have rights over your personal information, including to see it, correct it, delete it and object to how we use it. These are explained in our POPIA policy.
